Character and Citizenship Education

Guided by the school’s vision of developing our students to be all-round leaders with moral integrity who are global in outlook and contribute actively to the community, Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) is implemented through various platforms. The school’s CCE level outcomes help to guide its planning of programmes to develop students holistically.

Sec 2
Being a good team player

Understand the cultural differences between the East and the West

Sec 3
Becoming who I can be
Understand that one can inspire others to make a positive contribution
Understand Singapore in a globalized context

Becoming an all-round leader with moral integrity who is global in outlook and contributes actively to the community
The school has a Roots and Wings Programme with a variety of pedagogies to encapsulate its life skills programmes including lessons on Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Cyberwellness, Sexuality education, and Career guidance.  Fortnightly interaction and weekly assembly periods develop students through programmes on school values, National Education messages and Values-in-action (VIA) projects. Using the methodology of service-learning, VIA provides authentic situations for students to meet the needs of the community.
