Chung Cheng Students in Southeast CDC Community Laboratory Project 2017

This year, 6 students from Chung Cheng High (Main) participated in the Southeast CDC Community Laboratory Project 2017. This is a 6-month long involvement in serving the community. The students are currently serving Tung Ling Community Services at Old Airport Road which is near the school. They underwent attachment with the VWO and gathered the needs of the residents before they embarked on the community project. On 25 Aug 2017, the students conducted the project pitching with Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, Mayor of South East District, Senior Minister of State for Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They shared their insights of their attachment and community project ideas with Dr Maliki. Dr Maliki also had an informal dialogue session with the students to gather their learning from the VWO attachment and interaction with the seniors. Students reflected deeply on their community involvement experiences and have learnt much through the Community Laboratory Project. They are expected to implement their project in November 2017 and complete it by December 2017. cdc - 1.jpg CDC 2.jpg
